work + study essentials

study essentials edit

Most of my time this year is spent in the journalism building, at my magazine internship or, when I’m lucky, grabbing coffee and doing off-campus work downtown. My look for work-filled evenings and study dates usually pairs casual with feminine touches–the best of both worlds. Shop my favorite picks below!

Scarves can be tricky. Sometimes a tad too short, often not fluffy after their first wear – unless  you opt for oversized. My last two scarf purchases, both from UO, look rather long and overly plush at first, but when worn naturally, they take the perfect shape. This “brushed plaid” fringe-edged blanket scarf can be wrapped around once or twice to be worn long & dramatic or thick & cozy. I fell in love with the deep gem tones, just bold enough for brisk-weathered perfection. I paired it with a thin, light blue Brandy Melville sweater, black jeans and my classic Sperrys – daring to brave the chilly weather in lighter layers, but a solid mix of similar hues.
